  • Beat

Beat was written specifically to showcase the different types of instruments in the percussion ensemble, both pitched and non-pitched, and how they sound alone and in different combinations. The piece will challenge your ensemble and be interesting for them, but it is built on enough repetition to make it really fun for them when they've gotten their parts down and put it all together. Features a big unison ending that players, audiences (and conductors!) love. A must have for your percussion ensemble repertoire.
