Amazing Grace is a beloved hymn of hope, strength, faith, and the gift of God's amazing grace. This arrangement is for an a cappella TTB choir, but a piano can easily be added on the vocal parts as needed. This is a simplified version of the SATB version and is based on the first three verses of that arrangement. For more information, please consult the description for that arrangement here. The piece starts in unison, as if in the Negro Spiritual tradition. The second verse is in two parts, the third in three.
*Also available: arrangement for SSA or full-length SATB version (See more purchase options below) For lyrics see the Lyrics tab.

Amazing grace! (how sweet the sound)
That saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears reliev'd;
How precious did that grace appear,
The hour I first believ'd!
Thro' many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come;
'Tis grace has brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.
